Chuck Shaffer began working side-by-side with his grandfather at the age of 12 observing and learning the art of executing a fine design. Weekend and summer woodworking projects with grandpa fostered a talent for creating handcrafted objects and a desire to learn all aspects of the building process.

Over time, Chuck has collected a team of experts who bring history, experience, skill, detailed craftsmanship, integrity and loyalty to their clients. The Country Craftsman prides itself most in that projects come from the recommendations of past clients establishing TCC as the contractor of choice for the greater Rhinebeck area.
